  1. More runs please......................Joe.
  2. Thanks..............carry on.
  3. Somebody hit the ball where nobody is standing, k?
  4. Hey, a fly ball!!..........Progress. This game is ugly.
  5. Whew, that horseshoe stayed up there just long enough.
  6. Twins using the patient approach tonight I see.
  7. Pelf losing the plate already, not good.
  8. That was a hell of a swing there 'Duardo.
  9. For the most part he's a winner, name another QB in the last 40 years to beat both Michigan and Iowa in the same year, and then name the one who also beat Nebraska that very same year? Hint, both questions have the same answer. Listen, I prefaced it by saying I'm not a big Leidner fan, I also didn't say he was good, as you've indicated. I said he's better than a lot of people give him credit for. I also don't believe he's reached his ceiling as a player, which is why I expect him to be better this year. Leidner needs to improve his passing game and lord knows that might be difficult without Williams and not a lot of experience to replace him. I think this is where Leidner steps up this year, statistically he's inconsistent but he has the ability to keep his team in games, with a bit more consistency (and some luck), wins over the likes of Wisconsin might not be too far away.
  10. My son got a Buxton shirt this summer and I snagged a Dozier one, both at the main Target Field shop. If you can't get one at the park the online store always has plenty and will also customize one for you if they don't have it.
  11. Tennis in the game threads.......oh dear.
  12. I'm not a huge Leidner fan but he is better than a lot of people give him credit for, and he is a good fit for Kill's offense. He will be better this year I feel. Gophers go 9-3 or 8-4, book it.
  13. He did play, albeit very limited at wideout. Limegrover alluded to him not being quite up to speed yet. I expect we'll see him more against Colorado St. But my guess is as a wideout still, seems he has a bit to learn at RB with Kill. That being said, he just might be the Gophers best receiver.
  14. Pretty much exactly this.
  15. Concur on all the great talent here at TD, the variety with the game threads has been a highlight for me this season on the site. Imo it's helped to foster a better sense of community here. Well done all.....and all still to come.
  16. And if December won't do it, by January you're ****ed.
  17. Great win, lovin' me that little Escobear right now. Side note, Aurora Borealis spectacular here tonight, stretching and dancing clear across the Northern sky, amazing. Great night to enjoy them, with a Twins win.
  18. I didn't say he was the only legit guy, just one of the two I agreed with you that reside there (other than a healthy Perkins).
  19. Runner, runners, there is still no problem with May coming into the game. If Duffy had given up the lead it would have been Molitor's fault as well, that's the benefit of hindsight.
  20. Not a Packers fan but they'll have to get in line behind the Dallas Cowboys, Man U and the Toronto Maple Laughs on that claim to fame.
  21. Agreed, but it's still on May for being the legit guy who should be able to get one out.
  22. Disagree there, I'd go to who should be my lock down guy against the #9 batter with 2 outs and runners in scoring position 100 out of 100 times. May belonged in that game at that time, he blew it, no need for scapegoats.
