    Pretty much, the force was originally known as the North West Mounted Police. Many of it's officers served in the Boer war (Canada was still part of the Dominion remember) and in recognition of that service the force was renamed the Royal North West Mounted Police and later the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. Sorry for the sidebar, back to the topic.

    In similar news, this is a positive step forward. This isn't a whole lot different than Black lives matter, the RCMP are to be commended for becoming part of the solution and the largest part of that was admitting they are a big part of the problem.     Love me some pecan pie, but it has to be made with maple syrup. Not a Jello guy, just don't get it, unless we're talking about the pudding variety. Does that count? Scherzer freaks me out, he looks like that demented dog that always looks like he's going to bite you.

    The presumption of innocence is one of the highest principles the Courts are held to. The same principle applies to the police and in this instance they failed. Shoot first and ask questions later died a long time ago, there is simply no justification for a man being dead in this situation.

    I don't think it matters, the team is still very flawed and Ryan is responsible for putting it on the field this season. I don't see how Pohlad gives Ryan another go this off season,unless he somehow pulls multiple rabbits out of his hat by the trade deadline, which isn't happening imo. Molitor only stays if TR stays, I would guess a new management team would like to choose their own field general. I doubt that's Molly.

    Agree with this, his pitch recognition seems to be improving but he's still mainly getting by on his lightning fast hands when making contact. If he can tighten up his swing and be more compact he stands to improve greatly. He's easily fast enough to turn on inside pitches if he can do this and tighten the zone on the pitcher.

    Cast iron fried chicken is delicious when done right, the right spices in the batter, the right oil and perhaps most importantly, the right temperature. I go to a place called the Tallest Poppy for fried chicken, scrumptious.
