    I'm the one who closed it and I didn't expect universal agreement on it. That said, I stand by thinking this site can do better without stuff like that.

    Well in reality it isn't very clear. A "select few" moderators is intentionally vague, since we're not sure who you're talking about, we're all left with the same impression. Mod warnings are not meant to abuse some sort of power or flex some sort of muscle, they are intended to try and lower the temperature or try to get conversation back on track without handing out warning points, which we'd rather not do. Talking in generalities like this isn't overly helpful, I suggest if you have an issue with any action by a moderator that you contact one of us with it personally.

    Regardless of how many AB's Schafer ended up getting before recalling Buxton again, doesn't justify a team with 50 wins bringing in a player with zero future with the club to play in front of someone who they still desperately need to be a part of the future.

    No kidding, property in Vancouver is obscenely expensive, especially in West Van, where people routinely buy 5-10 million dollars homes just to tear them down and rebuild.

    Missed field goals and punts that go too far are given a courtesy point for a "really good try". If that point turns out to be the game winner, you get a voucher at Canadian Tire and split the 50/50 raffle with a member of the crowd.
