  1. last pitch was a nice one to clobber
  2. Marsh is all over the place.
  3. What to go Castro! That's how you do it
  4. I like our lineup. We just are missing Lewis
  5. Oh, my Buck, what are you swing at?
  6. I see that Ryan is rolling right along! good
  7. We know to hit into them but don't know how to make them
  8. We need this one. So far so good. Keep it up Twins. We have KC's # just like CLE has ours.
  9. Gee whiz, I didn't know that the game started this early. I missed Miranda's HR!
  10. Martin played mainly 3B at Vanderbilt. TOR & MN wanted to convert him into a power-slugging SS. IMO 2B is Martins best position until he learns OF, like getting down his throwing. Martin once he gets situated at MLB will be a tremendous lead-off guy. Even better than Arraez because Martin can really steal bases.
  11. I think you are onto something Seth, about interviewing broadcasters. Great interview.
  12. He's been up & down, mainly down but his last outing wasn't bad. IMO nothing would bring him up faster than being brought up
  13. I hated from the beginning the bringing in someone from outside when we have plenty of talent in-house. They are taking up the playing time & roster spots from our young players. Keirsey is deserving of a 26-man roster spot & Emma needs to be in AAA. Acuna (ATL) is down (I was expecting this) maybe they be out on a flyer for Margot like they did for Rosario. & while we are at it we can find a home for Santana. Cedar Rapids top four are awesome. KeaschallDH OlivarC Cespedes3B Maitan1B They got Salas playing all over, maybe they could try catcher. Catching has to be in his genes & blood.
  14. Exactly, He's just starting to figure things out & trying to command his great stuff which isn't easy. They're probably have him work on a lot of new stuff, it's just too much to take in all at once. The fact that he didn't give up any earned runs is pretty exciting.
  15. They do that with all their players. Lewis did the same thing, all the good hitters are able to reject that approach & find their swing on their own. Others who aren't that confident like Noah Miller (who's doing well away from MN) flounder. We are losing out on good players.
  16. The "all or nothing" swing that the Twins have pushed has a lot of holes in it. Students of that swing throughout their development Larnach, Wallner & Julien had success & Kepler adapted that swing & was successful. But MLB pitchers easily adjusted, Like Jeffers who ditched that approach last year, Kepler & Larnach adjusted. Unfortunately, Wallner & Julien have not & suffered greater than-expected regression & have had trouble adjusting their swing. Like Wallner, Julien needs to go down & reset & it won't be easy to unlearn the old swing & relearn a new one.
  17. As your article indicates Ryan is pitching smarter & his record & stats are showing this. But the real test will come when he's pitching against top teams in critical situations & if he can avoid HRs in those situations. IMO he will eventually get to the CY level but he still has some proving to do.
  18. Gray checked himself out? Maybe Gray came to the conclusion that everybody's human, getting older & needs to pitch accordingly.
  19. With the anemic offense, the rotation has taken up the slack & is showing some fatigue. IMO Lopez didn't have that little extra to blow away a batter in critical situations. IMO they should bring up Varland for a spot start as soon as possible & push back each SP, I'd keep Varland up in long relief/ spot start to help give support to the SPs & BP. We need to to do this to maximize quality innings & avoid any future injuries. Personally, I'd like to have this done sooner.

  21. Keep pecking away. At least keep it close
