  1. Edouard Julien is not a full time player. He has only started 3 of the last 6 games. Willi Castro and Carlos Santana are full time players. Edouard Julien will not be starting tonight. So make it 3 out of 7.
  2. The White Sox no longer have the worst record in baseball. The Marlins are the new leaders.
  3. Rocco has Farmer and Miranda rotating starts against Right Handers. Miranda started on Monday against Cannon Farmer on Tuesday against Fedde Miranda on Thursday against Soroka So Farmer Tonight And Miranda will start on Tuesday. Rocco is not throwing curve balls. 😁
  4. It's his own fault. He chose White Horse by Chris Stapleton for his walk up music. And... turns out... Wallner ain't there yet.
  5. I was offered a job doing that before. I wasn't sure why they offered it to me so I turned it down. The whole thing was kinda fishy.
  6. Trout returns to the river he was born in to spawn. Trout has elliptical eyes that allows him to focus on food and approaching predators at the same time.
  7. I'm winning I'm winning I'm winning I'm winning I'm winning and I don't intend... on losing again.
  8. He might even hit another homer before the season is up.
  9. Exactly. Rocco isn't rogue. You can't be this predictable and consistent rogue. You can't keep your job being rogue.
  10. Keep in mind. This isn't Rocco alone. Someone has to build the roster for this to be executed on the field.
  11. Yes... unless we are over stacked with lefties. Or unless they learn their lesson this year with Margot and Farmer not being adequate to face right handers.
  12. Reasonable result when you roster players to protect against 25% of the pitchers that you face at the expense of 75% of the pitchers you face.
  13. Look at the lineup tonight and look at the lineup Wednesday against Crochet. See any change. Rocco isn't throwing curveballs at us. Rocco is as consistent as they come. Monday when we face Crochet again.. This will be the lineup again. Sandoval and Crochet have huge left/right splits. Sunday against the lefty Detmers who has reverse splits. We might see a lefthander in the lineup. Kepler most likely... maybe Julien if Rocco goes crazy.
  14. Chicago is one of the top cities for food in my opinion. 1. Hibbing 2. Chicago 3. New Orleans
  15. I've never met Sano I mention that to point out that I'm not qualified to pass judgement on his work ethic so I won't. I will say this: Sano was given enough chances with the Twins to see his arbitration price rise to 14 million dollars. The choice for the Twins was do they pick up his option for 14 million or not. Anybody paying 14 million? I'm not!!! Think about it... If we did... we wouldn't be able to afford Joey Gallo!!!
  16. Agreed. The only thing you can do with Farmer is forget about what he has done so far and blank slate him forward. Of course... if we start getting into June. There will be too much writing on the slate to blank it.
  17. I guess that Julien, Kirilloff and Larnach will be on the bench tonight. Possibly Kepler as well. I think it will be a Crochet lineup against Sandoval and of course a Crochet lineup against Crochet on Monday. I'll guess, Kepler for sure and maybe Julien with a start against Detmers. I'm guessing a tough 4 days for Fantasy baseball owners of Alex Kirilloff.
  18. The optics are not fixable. Will he get better... yes he will. I have no expectation at all that he will remain .067 BA or .297 OPS. I have no expectation that Carlos Santana will remain at .147 OPS. They are going to start getting some hits and drag those numbers upward. The question is: Can Farmer change the optics and make up the significant amount ground needed after being lapped by his peers with 1/7th of the season complete? I don't believe he can and at the end of the year... his numbers are going to look... unjustifiable and there is absolutely nothing that he can do about that. The back of his baseball card is going to look bad for 2024. I know that I end up in this location a lot but I must go here again because the Twins constantly go here. He needs AB's to get his numbers close to presentable. He won't get enough AB's to make the stat sheet respectable against left handed hitters alone and hitting lefties is what he does well. He's going to have to hit right handers and he has never really shown that he can do that.
  19. I agree it's unfair toward Margot. Margot is not the second coming. It's totally fair toward anyone who thought that a back up would remain a back up. Willi Castro is currently tied with Carlos Santana for 2nd place in PA's. Not many would have had Castro in the box labelled starter.
  20. It just goes to show that you can't judge a city by it's traffic, torsoless statues or giant mirrors in the shape of a bean.
  21. The Italian Beef WET does not. 😉
