  1. STOP FU**ING WALKING PEOPLE!!!!
  2. Nunez is terrible at whatever position we want to call that. I'll go with "2nd-stop"
  3. Brendan Ryan is winning at life with that mustache
  4. Hey, guys, how about we work some counts since, you know, they don't have any more relievers left
  5. Their starter had his face broken in the 2nd inning. That's why their (6-man) bullpen is a mess. What's our excuse?
  6. I have a sick feeling in my stomach to start this inning
  7. This. We are concerned enough in the 3rd inning (not this game) to lay down a 0-out bunt to get a guy to 2nd, but we essentially have defensive indifference for A-Rod getting into scoring position? baffling
  8. Trevor "vulture" May strikes again!
  9. If I remember correctly, back in 2013 the Twins put Mauer on waivers and the rumor was that Boston claimed him. I don't think there was any chance we were going to move him unless we just got overwhelmed by an offer. At this point, if someone claimed him, they'd consider just letting him go for nothing, right? And the fans wouldn't revolt, right?
  10. Especially ones that used to be in the Twins organization
  11. Surprised Molly didn't bun Torii over to 3rd
  12. The Twins should be f$&king embarrassed by this game
  13. Why do every else's relief pitchers from AAA come in and dominate?
  14. So far, it's leaning toward bad deal: http://www.milb.com/milb/stats/stats.jsp?gid=2015_08_05_chaafa_pbcafa_1&t=g_box&sid=milb http://www.milb.com/milb/stats/stats.jsp?gid=2015_08_02_prirok_pulrok_1&t=g_box
  15. What results would have shown the deadline (non)-Moves to be the wrong decision.
  16. 1 hit until the 9th when we get 3 hits and a meaningless run to lose 12-4
  17. Oh, this story again. Hutch is lined up for about 5 straight 8-pitch innings
  18. We've looked terrible for two weeks, but we also looked terrible for about 3 weeks in June. Yet we still find ourselves where we are.
  19. Didn't we sweep Baltimore less than a month ago? Aren't the rosters almost identical to when that happened?
  20. But if Robinson strikes out, you can't keep PHing him for Sano because "he's due"
  21. I feel like Ryan catches the 10pm 'CCO news then heads to bed with a warm glass of milk. He dreams of rainbows and butterflies and wakes up at 7:00am sharp. Breakfast consists of Raisin Bran, half a grapefruit, and decaf coffee which he finishes just before his daily 8:00am morning constitutional.
  22. Good article summarizing Toronto's lead up to the trade deadline http://grantland.com/the-triangle/mlb-2015-trade-deadline-alex-anthopolous-interview-david-price-troy-tulowitzki-blue-jays/?ex_cid=GrantlandFB Interesting read, but it also kind of makes me sad. Two lines that specifically hit me: Self-preservation is a natural instinct, and mortgaging chunks of your future in pursuit of present goals can come with that instinct. Terry's self-preservation instincts never need to kick in, because he's got a "let us know when you're done, Terry" Contract. “I didn’t sleep a second that night,” Anthopoulos said. “I was too wired.” Has Terry Ryan ever been wired in his entire life? I want a GM that gets wired once in a while and can't wait to feel that feeling again
