    If it wasn't a 3 run game, I'd agree with you, but whoever the 3rd base coach is, should have the "hold" sign on at the crack of the bat.

    My brain can't create a scenario where pinch running Andianza for Vargas could benefit the 9th inning whatsoever. The only scenario was that the Twins tie it up and it ends up being a net negative.

    I've always wondered if the Runs For/Against stat would be more meaningful if you took out, say, the 5 largest blowouts on both sides (good and bad). Twins are currently Minus-12 in blowout games Or another way to do it would be runs for/against in the first 7 innings.

    Just want to be clear.... You used "JO" because it worked with 2.0, right? Not because we're calling him that now? I had just gotten used to Jose and pronouncing BEAR-e-ose correctly. I can't handle going back to "JO" because I'd probably fall back on "Burr-EE-ose"
