    Austidilo is no boost. He's a meme and hits ground outs like crazy. He is a liability in this line up and I pray once Garver comes back he is sent down or is sentenced to the bench where he belongs. Guy has been hitting .200 since his first 3 games. Thats not good.

    Better game tonight. Especially with less Brewers fans in the stands. Hearing Lets go Brewers and MVP chants when Yelich was up was nauseating. I despise everything Wisconsin sports.

    If he hits between 30 and 40 HRs a year I could care less about his strike out numbers, BA, or OPS. He is here to play decent to good defense at 3rd and hit homers. That's it. With the line up we have, he doesn't NEED to be a batting champ to be useful.

    I would crap my Pants if we got Scherzer. That bumps everyone down in the rotation and moves Pineda to the pen. That type of pitching along with our offense...look out MLB. We would match up with Houston quite well.

    Last night was the first time he had really any walk issues in any of his starts I believe. Not too worried. Seattle has a good offense, regardless of their terrible pitching and defense and he went through 6 2/3 only giving up one run and it was close to being caught for the 3rd out.

    Nice article! Good read. There similarities are interesting to say the least. If we can keep competing like we are until after the draft and up to the break. Add maybe another starter to fill in the 5th spot and one or two solid to great BP arms this team is set to be a monster, and one I can certainly see going to at least the ALDS.

    With this line up, its not really a big deal.

    Bullpen will be the death of this otherwise good team and that really drives me up the wall. Front office must be banking on us limping through with what we have until after the draft so we can try and sign some help with out giving up draft capitol or at least draft capitol we are okay with parting with. A win is a win, but man the pen made it not feel like one.

    Boston is playing like garbage, not worried about them yet. We will win the Toronto series, we have already proven we can beat Cleveland. Tampa is the only ones that scare me, with their pitching but their offense is not great. We can compete and beat all the teams you listed. Just have to go out and do it.

    I will never feel bad for having a Minnesota sports team whoop up on another team. Never. We've been on the other end wayyyy too many times for me to feel bad. Agreed, this week will be a huge indicator. I have hope. If we win 3 games out of the next 7, thats a win. 4 or 5 and I am on cloud 9.

    I think im going to use tonight to finish cleaning up and mowing my back yard. As it stands now this game is going to be a blow out that wont even be worth turning on. Astros 10 - T-ins 3 with us scoring 2 meaningless runs in the 8th. At least we got one out of them!

    Agreed! Sometimes he wants to be the hero too much. He needs to know that sometimes a walk is better than possibly hitting a double or a HR. And last night was the perfect time to get someone on base and get an extra out.

    To be fair, looking at the line up we put out and who we had starting on the mound. If I would have seen the box score and not the game, I would have assumed Perez gave up 5 runs and we lost a fairly boring game. I'm not too upset about it, if there was any game we would lose in this series, it was this one. Still mildly disappointing how it happened.
