    He made up for that in the second inning. ERA should skyrocket! The only interesting thing that remains is if we will be shut out on offense.

    I've been a Twins' fan since the early 1970's, but I'm sure not a fan of continuing the status quo. The leadership doesn't recognize what is broken (lack of fundamental skills, poor hitting approach, poor roster construction, poor in-game management, terrible base coaching, lack of team chemistry, no club morale, lack of earned playing time and opportunities that are statistically based, etc.) and how they contributed to the current state of the team. The best leaders know their strengths and their weaknesses. Delegate tasks that are out of your wheelhouse to someone who is competent and passionate about those tasks. Empower them to achieve success. Take the heat for those below you. Own your mistakes, and be honest with people. Try harder.

    In Strat-O-Matic, I'd always send guys home with two outs if their running was 1-14 safe, 15-20 out. I don't know how I would rate Brooks Lee, but he's probably a 1-12 safe, 13-20 out kind of guy.

    Well, it's 1-0 Guardians. I'm thinking Joe Ryan just fell to 10-6. I don't think we'll see two runs from the Twins tonight.

    Someday, when all the dust has settled, we will once again have a team capable of reaching the post-season. Let's hope that all those players traded away won't have extra incentive to get back at the organization that made them so unhappy. Bring up the Wind Surge team as a group, and let them learn together at the Major League level. Get a manager in here who will bunt, hit-and-run, bench players for poor performance or lack of hustle, and let the chips fall where they may.
