  1. You gotta love "Dirty Rock". http://www.mrkitt.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/07/lemmyshorts.jpg
  2. Geez. Santana going down made my belly ache like a was 17 and dumped by a girlfriend. The 3 F's are not gonna cut. 1 is bad enough - offensively.
  3. ... or Ace of Spades, that was released in late 1980.
  4. One of my favorite movies of all time.
  5. Hey, cut me some slack. I had no clue who they were and had to do some research. "Lady" was the song I remembered from my pre-10 age. I have now listened to "Happy Anniversary" and have combed my hair correctly. For the life of me, I cannot get "Night Owls" to play on YouTube - each option! I did read this comment to that song and I urinated in my pants a tad - here it is: People wanted them to rock out from their ballad - style songs. And they did it with this song in "81. I was cruising my muscle car when this song was playing on the radio; I was working as a bouncer back then w/ all kinds of ladies for the night. This song defined me as a guy & what the game was. Thanks for posting it.
  6. That is a strange comparison, but none the less, I like it. I wonder how many Operation Overlords occurred during this period of time?
  7. I am in total agreement with you. Obviously, Morneau had some serious concussion issues, but I really feel like Target Field got into his head - it's not a very fair park for guys who like to drive the ball into the power alleys. He may not be the same player he was 5-6 years ago, but playing in Colorado may get him back to the 30HR level. That is pleasing and I am happy for him.
  8. I'm gonna bookmark this link and watch it again on Hallucinogen Sunday. That way I can get the full effect and enjoyment out of it. Thanks!
  9. My bad. You two must be going to a bowling tournament then.
  10. You must be going to an Aces game tonight. Have fun and happy anniversary!
  11. Trust me on this one. I know.
  12. No doubt - I wouldn't have also. http://thumb.usatodaysportsimages.com/image/thumb/540-390nw/7958674.jpg
  13. Crazy. That guy has become quite a roller coaster ride the last 3 years. Love his mustache though. It reeks of a Late 70's early 80's low level cocaine dealer and user.
  14. It's a little bit Bunny... and a little bit Rhino!
  15. Is that a Jeffrey Dahmer quote?
  16. How can you not like the Bunny? He can catch a baseball. I took this photo after I almost ran the Lil' thing over with my lawn mower on Saturday. We then proceeded to have a game of catch.
  17. Almost 12 years and the Rally Monkey still is lingering. Screw the Rally Monkey - the Twins need their own Rally Animal. May I present to you... the Rally Rhinoceros I would have preferred the Comeback Bunny, but that might not have had enough testosterone behind it for some to deem acceptable. Oh, how cute.
  18. Still equals Bigfoot kind of scenario to me.
  19. He can't mean Barry Larkin... Right?
  20. Hey give me credit. I visualized it on MLB Game Day in the 9th. I did not need another hole in my wall. I saved some money.
  21. I am happy to see what Escobar has done thus far into the season. The guy is no pip squeak, he may not be the tallest guy or have a lot of girth, but he is built pretty sturdy, has some meat one his bones. The thunder in his bat is real and he has some speed, he can stick at SS and has a cannon of an arm. Right now, it is all about whether his bat is smoke and mirrors, of which I don't believe to be the case. If he can keep his average over .260, I believe you will get the necessary outcome you want from your starting SS.
  22. Agreed. He should be gone, replaced with Tonkin or whom ever. I turned the game off in the the bottom of the 9th today. I did not have the guts to deal with it.
  23. Sorry about my last post Paul, off topic a little. Burton was good in 2012 (caught a little lightning in a bottle) He was okay in 2013, with definite cracks in facade after June. 2014 - he is what he is - filler - I do not get why the Twins use him how they do?
  24. Who doesn't love Eisenhower? I Like Ike, and he was born in 1890. Was his dad a dark ages baseball star?
