It's funny, since you brought up Hedberg, I have been digging into his material. it might be a bit melancholy, but I have been laughing my ass off for the last half hour. Thanks for the kick in the ass Brian!
I wanna hang a map of the world in my house. Then I'm gonna put pins into all the locations that I've traveled to. But first, I'm gonna have to travel to the top two corners of the map, so it won't fall down.
He graduated from the same high school I graduated from. He was about 8 years older than me, but my good friend's brothers went to school with him. He was funny then also and from our neighborhood. There is not so much pride I take from where I grew up, but Hedberg was about as funny as it gets from my perspective. What has it been - about 9 years since he has passed? I remember that being a sullen day. There are many great comedians, but I do not think any of them has bestowed upon me the laughter and greatness that was Mitch Hedberg.
Boy the way Glen Miller played Songs that made the hit parade. Guys like us we had it made, Those were the days. And you knew who you were then, Girls were girls and men were men, Mister we could use a man Like Herbert Hoover again. Didn't need no welfare state, Everybody pulled his weight. Gee our old LaSalle ran great. Those were the days.
Hey, I think I have one of those. Let me check... Hmmm, no nose, no teeth, no legs, no frontal whiskers, only one eye - not two. My bad, I do not have one of those.
I wouldn't necessarily say that is true. Just ask Lemmy. The Young ladies on this site have a particular taste. Sometimes its whiskey and cigarettes and sometimes it is fine wine and caviar.
