    The Twins pitching strategy is so obvious. Get ahead of the count 0-2 or 1-2, then throw 3 waste pitches that aren't even close to temp[ting a hitter to swing. Then the hitter with a 3-2 count, waits for the center cut pitch. An idiot could figure it out. Obviously, not Rocco, Wes, or even our pitchers have a clue.

    The Twins are not a bad team in my opinion. They are a decent team playing very bad baseball. There are many reasons why they are struggling. You can blame injuries, players struggling to be consistent, breakdowns in coaching and managing, etc. For whatever reason the team is struggling, it doesn't excuse their mental mistakes, and their overall lack of spirit and pride. They are letting things happen to them, rather than making things happen. Too many center cut pitches swung on and missed. Too many times lack of hustle costing them making a play on defense or offense. Where's Rocco during all of this? Looking at his tablet? When's the last time he got into an umpire's face? It's sometime the little and subtle things that help a team break out of a funk. Nope, same thing every game. Just waiting to win by coincidence, I guess. Fans deserve a lot more than what they're getting in return. I guess I couldn't blame a player here or there who only plays for a paycheck. But, with the size of their paychecks, we should get a little bit more on the return of our investment.

    That's alot of money just for defense. I think it would be easier to find a defensive option versus the type of offensive player, Donaldson can be. Also, Donaldson has a terrible recent history with his leg injuries. You may only be able to squeeze 4 at bats out of him, and keep him off the field.

    Wouldn't surprise me to see Donaldson as the DH next year. Maybe you can squeeze another season or more out of Cruz. But when the NL adopts the DH, the Twins won't be able to afford Cruz, and he'll probably retire rather than take a pay cut. Once the prize prospect, Sano is nothing more than a burden. When he's healthy, he's good for a few monumental homeruns. Despite the homerun ability, he's not a run producer. So a scenario comes to mind. 3b+Arraez, ss=Simmons, 2nd b= Polanco 1st b= Kiriloff. LF=Larnach, CF= Buxton, RF=Keppler/Garlick C= Jeffers, DH=Donaldson.
