I heard a rumor that Sano tethers his seeing eye dog, just outside the stadium player's door, when he arrives daily.

Bremer is ok as a play by play guy. He's not perfect and can be monotonous. But, I never question his love of the game, whether he's calling it or not.

Has Ober signed an extension, yet?

Olson. with Baltimore. All he threw were curveballs.

Twins are doing a good job in creating demand for future ticket sales.

Archer seems to be a decent guy, or a fountain of b.s.!

Kepler will not be a starter after the all-star break.

Is that a quote from the movie, 'the town'?
  9. RickOShea
Yeah, I hear armored suits are back in style this spring.

Buxton's HBP was a fastball that tore into his uniform and flesh. The laceration was quickly scotched taped. After 15 minutes of walking it off and 50 pushups, he returned to first base. It will be evaluated after the game, at which time Baldelli will put him on the IL.

Yeh, other teams don't pair up hard throwers back to back, if you're just talking velocity.

Sano, trying to pad his stats, LOL!

Good point, but Rocco doesn't think that way.
  14. RickOShea
Watch Rocco bring him out for another inning. That will ensure we won't see him in a closer role for a week.
  15. RickOShea
If that was possible, can you imagine how thick his bat would have to be?
  16. RickOShea
It's game 1, obviously. But, what do what we do with Kepler, if he doesn't get back to where he was a few yrears back?
  17. RickOShea
    Reality can be cruel, sometime.
  18. RickOShea
He won't last long if he has to pitch himself out of jams by striking out the side every time.

Is the 'Turtle' still in the Twins' organization?
  20. RickOShea
Yeah, we were so poor, out brand of pc was BM.

I wouldn't mind a little variance in the weather. My a/c has already run several times in '22.

Twins looking very crisp. Good loft on fly balls and medium speed ground balls.

I believe it was Mariano Rivera. Hoffman was ac/dc's "Hell's Bells"

If Buxton is on the way out, you might as well include Falvey and Levine. Obviously, they respond to ownership's wishes, but if they are given the go ahead to sign buxton, and fail, they should be ushered out as well. There was definitely a reason why Cleveland and Texas let these two FO men go.
