  1. I for one am a little fed up with this Adrianza in left for almost every lefty pitcher. If you're not going to play Kepler, at least put Granite in there...
  2. Way to get out of that, Big Erv.
  3. I've always really enjoyed Gardner. Felt like the Twins should have found a way to trade for him. Stud.
  4. Other than stupidly throwing fastballs to Judge, Santana has been pitching well. Only one or two other hard hit balls.
  5. Tanaka has a 4.73 ERA. Severino has pitched less than 40 games in the majors. Their lineup is not that deep. Bullpen is really good. But they do not even come close to posting the lineup of the Astros or the Indians. Cleveland has a better starting rotation and just as good of a bullpen. I stand by my assertion that the Yanks have no chance to get to the World Series... agree to disagree I guess.
  6. Can the boys put together some quality at bats?
  7. Front rotation? A rookie and a guy with forearm issues with a plus 4.70 era? These guys don't hit outside of Yankee Stadium. They have only won two series against the Red Sox and split a series with the Indians. Indians are the team to beat... I'll give you Gray and their bullpen... but their lineup is a product of Yankee stadium. But you know... that's like only your opinion, man.
  8. Oh what do you know... Cerrano can't hit the slider...
  9. Not a chance the Yankees make a play at the World Series. You need to update your Aaron Hicks stats, btw... Not funny if you're playing with stats from four months ago...
  10. Not at all. The boys are just taking the worst at bats all season. I haven't watched a game where there have been as many poor at bats as this game. They should be embarrassed.
  11. Honestly though, this Yankees team is not a good team. They have one guy who hits the sh!* out of fastballs... If I were Santana, I'd buzz a couple fastballs right under his chin.
  12. Yeah, the ump doesn't make them swing at pitches in the dirt and three feet outside...
  13. It's like this team gets to the Bronx (armpit of NYC) and they turn into a different bunch... THIS IS NOT THE SAME TEAM THAT OWNED THE TWINS IN THE 2000's! Mauer must have scared them into thinking this Yankees team is a juggernaut.
  14. Just swinging at trash pitches. Typical Twins fashion making a sub-par pitcher look like a cy young candidate...
  15. Why would you ever throw Judge a fastball? He cannot hit off speed pitches. Bad pitch call/selection by Castro and Santana. Also, what the hell are the Twins swinging at?
  16. While all games moving forward are extremely important and every win is crucial for this team to make the playoffs, I feel like today's game is one of the bigger games of the year. Here's to hoping Big Erv pitches a great game and the bats stay hot! Let's go Twins!
  17. I think it's safe to hit the hay... As a poster said earlier, some of us are teachers and have to get up at 6; hopefully the bullpen doesn't eff it up.
  18. To be fair to the run differential, there were a couple games where the boys got crushed... there haven't been too many games where they've put the beat down on the other team; like a 15-3 game or the likes.
  19. Any of you have any heady information on Buxton? I've watched the whole game and can't think of a time where he would have hurt himself...
  20. The problem with Dozier is that he isn't really that clutch. I do not trust him in big situations. As others have said, I think there are others on the team that need extensions before they worry about Dozier. He's a good player and would be tough to replace, but you have to hope other players step up and replace his productivity.
  21. I personally think the Twins should sell high on Santana if you get an offer you cant refuse. He's regressed pretty hard since the beginning of the year. He still goes deep in games, and I think trading him would mean selling on the season, but if you can get a team to overpay for him with a package that includes a young up and coming starter, I don't know how you say "no."
  22. Polonco sent down when Buxton is activated?
