Last year he swings at that.
  2. FlauerPauer
    Good eye!
  3. FlauerPauer
Great at bats by Kepler and Polanco. C'mon Cruz, single scores the tying run!
  4. FlauerPauer
Come on, boys! Make me eat crow!

    Like Mike F***'in Leake.

Some games it just seems like you're destined to lose. This is one of them.

Disagree he has good stuff. He throws hard sure, but lacks a solid breaking pitch and hitters have learned to lay off the cutter. There's a reason he has a 4.5+ career ERA and had a 6+ ERA last year.
  8. FlauerPauer
Definitely over Martin Perez. Dude has been awful the past month.

I like the idea of trying to get Giles and Stroman. With all the Twins Minor Leaguer's on the IL it kind of makes swinging a deal tough. I'm in the mindset that you trade prospects for proven major league ballplayers. If Toronto is interested in Lewis, I think you have to listen. I'd rather have a World Series than Royce Lewis in the system.

Good for Eades! Hope he can find success here at the bigs and be a nice 6th inning guy.

Not disappointed at all with the Twins passing on a three year deal with Kimbrel. Would it have been nice on a one year deal? Sure, but definitely not a three year deal. Anyone wishing the Twins still signed Darvish?

I think the Twins are going to need to shop for a starter at the deadline. Bumgarner and Smith is just seeming to make more and more sense. Would a package involving Gordon/Arreaz, Duran/Alcala begin the talks?

Be a great time for a Sano dinger.

It also makes me super, duper happy that Jose Ramirez is paying awful this year. I have never liked his demeanor, his attitude, and his stupid pudgy face.
  15. FlauerPauer
Miggy is playing great at third tonight as well. That last throw was a pea right chest high.

Good at bat by Sano to lay of those outside and low pitches. Just got unlucky and topped the last one there. I like the at-bats the boys are taking tonight. Let's get Smeltzy another couple runs of support!

Would have liked to have seen that lefty from Kentucky be the guy. I guess we'll see in a couple years.
  18. FlauerPauer
I would rather have seen Astudillo sent down. He's been an easy out for the last month. No power, no on-base skills, no eye at the plate. Dude needs to go.
  19. FlauerPauer
    Yikes. Well. There's always tomorrow.
  20. FlauerPauer
This must be how other teams feel when the Twins have innings like this.
  21. FlauerPauer
    Rats.
  22. FlauerPauer
    Even bigger double play here!
  23. FlauerPauer
Big time double play here! C'mon, boys!
  24. FlauerPauer
Be great to see Castro jack one here.
  25. FlauerPauer
DFA Adrianza is always an option too, but he's not playing terrible. .8 WAR according to Baseball Reference.
