Twins Video
It's that time of year again: the Twins Daily community awards!
Before we start with specifics, we'd like to thank everyone who attended an event, commented, or even reacted to some of our content. Without the thousands of people supplementing our content with their insights and opinions, Twins Daily wouldn't be where it is today. Let's get into it.
Most Popular Post
In an unusual twist, the most popular post of the 2023 Twins season was found in a game recap from mid-April. Reliever Brent Headrick had recently been recalled from St Paul and pitched three innings, prompting @McGregor to give some personal insight about attending high school against Headrick and playing basketball against him. I love stuff like this; Twins Daily has such an enormous reach that personal stories about big-league players are not uncommon around these parts. Thank you to McGregor for helping make this site a place to share such stories!
We want to offer you this cool TC-branded dugout mug as a gift!

The Arraez-for-Lopez trade was a hot topic all summer as the two players helped lead their teams to postseason berths. As the season wound to a close, @Dman offered this level-headed take that put the first year of the deal into perspective. Thank you, Dman. You've been an excellent poster for years, and this is par for the course with you!
Most Popular Blog Post
Best and worst trades in history are always a fun thought experiment. User @Devlin Clark looks at the worst trade in Twins' history and concludes it was the Carlos Gomez trade. They do an excellent job of breaking down how the Hardy acquisition was good but was ultimately undone with the later trade to the Orioles. It's a pretty nice breakdown, but as a Brewers fan, I'll point out something Devlin missed: if you look at the trade tree, the Brewers later flipped Gomez for Josh Hader and Adrian Houser. No big deal, right?
Anyway, great blog post! We want to gift you this cool Joe Ryan rookie bobblehead. Thank you for the quality content; we hope to see more soon!

I love it when new users break into these lists. And it's hard to get much newer than @Jonny Clubb, who only joined Twins Daily in September. In one of their first blog posts, they take the time to break down potential Twins postseason opponents and do a rather comprehensive job of laying the groundwork for October. Well done, and we hope to see more blogs from you in the coming offseason!
Most Prolific Posters
These are the people whose content has become as familiar to the Twins Daily community as the front page writings of Nick or Seth. During the 2023 season, long-time stalwarts @USAFChief and @stringer bell led the way in being the most popular users on Twins Daily. This number is achieved through system "points" awarded through every thread you create, comment you post, blog you write, or reaction you receive. Well done, you two, and thank you for all the great content you bring to the community every day!
It was a fun season that didn't end in a championship, but got more than one monkey off this fanbase's back. Now it's time to look forward to another Falvey offseason, and I'll see you all back here for the next series of awards in Spring Training!
