BaseballProspectus.com has a fun piece today regarding four methods to scout the Twins’ Pedro Hernandez (and, no, none of the methods involve gouging your eyes out before his pitches).

 

Four authors gave their perspective of Hernandez’s most recent start in Oakland from (1) in-person, (2) TV broadcast, (3) radio broadcast and (4) Pitchf/x. Needless to say the start wasn’t pretty (2 innings, 8 hits and 6 runs) but it was interested how the four sources witnessed his outing.

 

Regardless, fun read and well worth your time.
