Kreidler has filled the hole, only you cannot see that for some reason, but most here have said he has. At that, Lee has filled the hole that Lewis created at 3rd base. HarmonK03 1

Twindy Verified Member Posted August 2 Posted August 2 Back before the break when the Twins were winning, they were hitting early in the game. Big first innings, getting out to leads over the first three or four innings, and added on as the game progressed. Haven’t done that for a while. Since the break that has been missing, would like to see it return. TMarty and Patzky 2

Houston is going the force the issue at some point either this year or early next year if he keeps hitting like he has. I wouldn't be opposed to bringing him directly from Wichita.

Western SD Fan Verified Member Posted August 2 Posted August 2 Here are the game logs of Culpepper since coming back from injury. Last night was the first game that he has played SS in back-to-back games since coming back from the IL. I want to see Culpepper as much as the next guy. I also want to make sure he can play the position every day before calling him up. If he can't play the field every day, he needs to stay in AAA until he can. I think it's from the original injury, I had not heard he did this again or did I miss something.

S Bart Verified Member Posted August 2 Posted August 2 Monday is trade day... and a day off..Twins need to shake things up either via some trades or possibly some moves up from AAA...need hitters to solidify some runs and maybe one more pitcher...I know there are some that do not like the idea of boosting AAA players...but some sparks are needed due to their declared intention not to sell.. They have played a college football game at Target Field and Wrigley. They host bowl games at Fenway and Yankee Stadium. I believe the bowl game that used to be played in SF was played at Oracle. Petco Park has hosted the Holiday Bowl before. But, these are all one offs now as no stadium anymore does double duty.

That trade was a bit of a surprise for me. Maybe the Twins have told them they are not trading Jeffers. Ben Rice is also a catcher. Maybe they fix their catcher problem by moving him back behind the plate.

Technically the Big A was also reconfigured for football when the Rams were in LA before they moved to St Louis. I think they removed that configuration when the Rams moved, but I could be wrong.
