Ben Rice is also a catcher. Maybe they fix their catcher problem by moving him back behind the plate. Rice would already be back there if they were comfortable with him back there.
Patzky Old-Timey Member Posted August 2 Posted August 2 Gonna have to wait out Gilbert I guess. He'll go one more inning for sure.

Patzky Old-Timey Member Posted August 2 Posted August 2 Taj' control has been shaky but to his credit he's held down damage so far.
Patzky Old-Timey Member Posted August 2 Posted August 2 Miz gonna take the loss it looks like. Wonder if we could pry that Meckler dude away from the Angels
Patzky Old-Timey Member Posted August 2 Posted August 2 Ugh, two on and Young has been killing us all series. RpR 1
tony&rodney Old-Timey Member Posted August 2 Posted August 2 A small complaint I have about the Twins announcers, although I often have the sound off, is that there is seldom any nuance or informative talk. Just now, we hear that the Mariners scored two on a double but no mention of the fact that the ball was imminently catchable or that the ball was fumbled/dropped to score a second run. Pretty crazy to think that the second run was scored as earned despite the runner stopping before the booted ball. Defense matters and the announcers are vacant talking heads. h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted August 2 Posted August 2 We are extremely lucky to have won 3 of the last 5 games. Need some big luck again now. Bradley walking the game away. Offense inept.
Patzky Old-Timey Member Posted August 2 Posted August 2 Kremer is in the bullpen asking his new teammates when the run support starts. RpR and Saxophone Joe 2
RpR Verified Member Posted August 2 Posted August 2 It seems, when the Twins get a runner on, next boys try to his a home run, whereas, Seattle boys get base hits for runs. thelanges5 1

thelanges5 Verified Member Posted August 2 Posted August 2 Not including today’s game the Twins have averaged 3.6 runs per game since coming back from the All-Star break. Will go down to 3.4 if they are shut out today. Patzky 1

S Bart Verified Member Posted August 2 Posted August 2 I am crossing my fingers that the Twins will do something to mix it up a bit to improve the hitting and get a chance to actually make the playoffs...they simply cannot count on the questionable Buxton who is getting shots in his hips... h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted August 2 Posted August 2 And Milwaukee coming up, too. But we’ll have Kremer! lukeduke1980 and Patzky 1 1
