Caratini is exactly what he has been his whole career, he is not a regular like they are trying to make him into.  He will make a good play here and there but he is not a regular player.  And on this roster with his salary he needs to be more of a difference maker than he is.  That money would have been better spent on a relief pitcher.

I don't think Gasper will be catching for them, he is the third catcher on the roster.  I just don't know what Caratini brings to this roster.

How telling is that. Over and over our pen comes in and gives up the hits first  batter, provides the opposite of relief and blows open the game or comes back in late innings. Cleveland’s pen comes in with bases loaded and rental Caratini strikes out on 3 pitches. Tale of two pens.
