Western SD Fan Verified Member Posted May 9 Posted May 9 The radio guys suggested that Jeffers talked to the home plate umpire asking whether it was a called strike or on the swing. He likely didn't challenge if was called out on the check swing. Patzky 1

Patzky Old-Timey Member Posted May 9 Posted May 9 This won't end well. It needs to be done and Orze is the logical choice, but it's Cleveland and it won't end well.
Twindy Verified Member Posted May 9 Posted May 9 If you’re gonna pitch Kwan outside like that, then you need to play closer to the line in left. Martin was straight away. mrtwinsfan and Strombomb 2

jkcarew Verified Member Posted May 9 Posted May 9 We need to teach Funderburk how to play right field so he can catch his breath and we can use him again later. Has been one guy that’s doing decently. Edit: I’m joking. Mostly. Hunter4848 and Patzky 2
Twindy Verified Member Posted May 9 Posted May 9 And of course, Ramirez hits a pitch a foot outside through the six hole
HarmonK03 Verified Member Posted May 9 Posted May 9 Why pitch to Ramirez in that situation, make Hoskins beat you. Western SD Fan 1
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted May 9 Posted May 9 Of course Orze allows inherited runner to score. Twins pen. Totally expected.

Blyleven2011 Verified Member Posted May 9 Posted May 9 Ramirez is such a professional hitter ... I keep saying , we need hitters that can take the pitch to the opposite field , Lee, jeffers and Keaschall have done it here and there ... Patzky and Hunter4848 2

When Lee is on, I have liked his approach because he is willing to take the ball the other way and take what the pitcher gives him. Of course, he needs to do that for a lot longer to develop a reputation for it. Blyleven2011 and Patzky 2
