I think just a brain fart by Jeffers….gotta know you have two remaining…gotta do it right away, blah blah.

Not the first brain fart tonight

The radio guys suggested that Jeffers talked to the home plate umpire asking whether it was a called strike or on the swing.  He likely didn't challenge if was called out on the check swing.

Jeffers is so good about that.. was certainly worth a shot there.

He only seems to use them while catching, and not batting.

This won't end well. It needs to be done and Orze is the logical choice, but it's Cleveland and it won't end well.

Total guess. Plate ump didn’t even get help. No indication of that and it didn’t look like a swing.

He actually challenged a pitch when hitting yesterday and they said he was successful 4 of 6 times when challenging as a hitter.

If you’re gonna pitch Kwan outside like that, then you need to play closer to the line in left. Martin was straight away.

earlier in the game he did and Kwan hit it there ,  why not this time  idk?

We need to teach Funderburk how to play right field so he can catch his breath and we can use him again later. Has been one guy that’s doing decently.

Edit: I’m joking. Mostly.

Of course Orze allows inherited runner to score. Twins pen. Totally expected.

Was it?

You're new to Devil Magic at this field aren't you. 😁 If the interference and the Jeffers K didn't doom us something else will.

Ramirez is such a professional hitter ...

I keep saying , we need hitters that can take the pitch to the opposite field  , Lee,  jeffers and Keaschall  have done it here and there ...

If Witt turned into Ramirez the Royals would win it all

When Lee is on, I have liked his approach because he is willing to take the ball the other way and take what the pitcher gives him.  Of course, he needs to do that for a lot longer to develop a reputation for it.
