Does Lee wear contacts? I swear to god it looks like he can’t see the ball.

Ditto the plate ump

Listen, I want to rag on the twins every chance I get but alcala had more lives than a room full of cats. He wasn’t good. The Henriquez miss looks obvious at this point.

Think it was Coulombe or Tonkin?

Nope. Twins removed Henriquez to make room on 40 man for Bader.

Not that there weren't better candidates for DFA, but still. It was Bader.

FYI, Sonny Henriquez was removed from the Twins 40 man to make room for...Harrison Bader.

I thought I had looked this up on Monday.  You are correct that they signed Bader that day.  They also signed Danny Coulombe that day as well.  I'm not sure which one took Henriquez's roster spot.

I equate it as ejecting Henriquez for Coulombe, bullpen arm for bullpen arm.

I’m not as versed in the various roster rules as some, but was there anyway to keep him around even if he wasn’t on the big league roster? 25 years old throwing nearly 100 mph. Feels like that’s a guy you don’t give up on when you have actual bums still on the roster.

It was Bader.

The club’s 40-man roster was full before either move. The Twins cleared up a spot for Coulombe when they traded utility player Michael Helman to the Cardinals for cash on Thursday. To make room for Bader, they designated right-hander Ronny Henriquez for assignment.

Take him off the 40 man and hope no one claims him then put him in minors.  He got claimed

Was Tonkin on the 40-man at that time?

Tonkin, Topa were easy choices over Henriquez.

Really stupid. I mean, they traded FOR Henriquez. He had performed reasonably well in the show. Big arm.
