Walker Jenkins has started his rehab assignment TODAY

Apparently he would have started yesterday (Monday 6/2) but the games got rained out. He's playing for the FCL Twins today, and so far he is 0-1 with 2 walks and a run scored. In the 1st he reached base on an error but then was thrown out attempting to steal 2nd base. To me that's a good sign that his ankle feels ok if he is trying that.

Mostly it's just really great to see his name in the box score again.

Great news.  Can still be a great season for him if he can stay healthy.
