Lewis is rusty. He actually looks better in the box with the Twins than he did with the Saints, where the minor league pitchers just toyed with him. Baseball is tough and timing is critical for the batter.

To an extent but I guess the Twins are thinking that the only way he's going to get comfortable is by facing big league pitching again. Besides, what's the alternative - Julien or Gasper?
