lucky Bader

It was an E-7 called a hit.  In both innings where TC scored the run was a result of BOS booting  2 balls that should have been outs.  It took 2 BOS F-ups in each inning for TC to score one run that inning.

The bats are dead.  Big problem.

You're right. You gotta take advantage of every boot because you can't always depend on HRs

Pretty sure at some time I'm going to have to learn how to spell "Misiewicz". He might even make the club out of Spring Training, if both Topa and Stewart hit the IL.

Shorten it "Misiez"

Dang ump is not calling the outside corner for Paddack

If either the catcher or pitcher thinks those aren’t called right, they can use the challenge

I agree the bats need to be more consistent, but they have had some good offensive games this spring, too. Just hope it’s more of that than the other come the season, but not every game is going to be an offensive boon. And good for them for converting Boston’s mishaps into runs. Thats what they should do.

Teams have only 2 challenges, they can't call a bunch of close calls, Even if they call them all right, that makes the umps look bad, they don't like to look bad. If they miss a couple of very close ones early they are at the mercy of the umps.

I get that. But if it’s so obvious to you watching from the TV it should be more than obvious to those involved first hand. It could be that Paddock was just missing, not that the umps were wrong in this case. We all like to believe that our team is always victims of nefarious umpires

Winokur single off Wheeler 1st AB

Impressively did not swing at a slider just off the plate. Solid line drive.

Spring Training - where two batters wear the same uniform number on first and third (#11 - Winokur & Gasper). Funny stuff.
