Wow, the court ended the administrative state and usurped control for itself in a case called Loper Bright. In legal circles, this is probably the most important decision in years. The rule had been, if a statute had some ambiguity in it, courts would give deference to agency interpretations because they were subject matter experts. Now, if there is any ambiguity (and ambiguity is subjective) courts will decide.

I, uh, should have waited a few days to post because today's decision just gave our Presidents immunity for any official act, which can include a coup.
