Yep--Joe is going to have to match zero for zero for Twins to have any chance tonite. The bats are pretty quiet, which is very predictable given who is pitching. I still think (hope) we can take this series, but it is unlikely that tonite will go our way. Of course hope I'm wrong. Correa like Jeffers is mired in a pretty nasty slump. Very poor time for this to be happening.

(Maybe Gallo will bail us out!🤪

Vazquez is so unbelievably bad. Its mind blowing a team can say they want to compete and let him get ABs every other game

He should be ordered to not swing the bat. Pray for a walk. Worse case is he at least makes the pitcher throw 3 pitches.

If Scherzer blows us away in the 6th, I wonder if the official scorer will change that questionable hit that the 3rd baseman kinda muffed, into an error? Only hit for the Twins and it wasn't much of one.

Only 1 hit off of Max. I think our only chance, is to somehow scrape in a run off the pen after Bochy pulls him....that is, if he pulls him.

I must be in the wrong place. I thought the Twins were trying to win their division. They wont with a lineup like this. Collective BA can't be over .225.

About the only positive to this absolutely putrid offensive performance is we are getting Scherzers pitch count up a bit to the point he may only go 1 more inning.

Twins hitters are helpless and hopeless tonight. Its not much fun watching them do nothing. Best chance would be to get Scherzer out of there, but he is on his way to one of the more easy CG's of his career.

Maybe Joey will step out of character and do something incredible? What is really frustrating is this is the 2nd straight great start by a Twins pitcher and very probably nothing to show for it.
