Concur on Halsey, and his cigars. Also it was a good time later on when Jim Kaat was doing analysis here, before going east.

 

My favorite time in TV land was Kaat and Robinson. Radio: Carneal and Hall, though I was still young when he retired. And I remember he was more of a character than an analyst. The best trio was Carneal, Hall and Ray Christensen. The best tandem was Carneal and Christensen, imho.
