Sanchez makes a classic Twins play. He fits here really well. Poor defense, lots of strikeouts, and occasional homeruns.

Even though it's only 2-1, my feeling is that this game is very close to being decided.  Especially with this offensively challenged team.

Obviously Twins are not doing very well.  I am very disappointed.  Too many injuries, lack of top quality SPs and BPs hurt Twins.

It's only 3 starts for Varland in a Twins uniform but he sure looks like he wants to compete. Pencil him in for next year now.

Meanwhile Cleveland is must watch video for Falvey and all Twins coaches for homework again, this time against the Rangers. First to third on nearly every single and taking second base if an outfielder thinks they can make a play on the runner. Cutting down on their swings with two strikes and putting the ball in play. I know Houston and Los Angeles are really good but I hope Cleveland wins it all.
