Oswaldo Arica is getting called back up to the Majors just after 1 game in AAA thanks to mastroanni going on the DL

Arica has been a curical part to the Twins line up. Hitting just under .300 with 3 home runs and 13 RBIs. He has had less playing time lately, with the twins facing national league teams. But should start to get in the lineup more with ploffue now out with a concussion.

Arica hit another home run raising his average to .263. And now 2ed in Home Runs for the team only behind willingham.

Is Parmalee out of options? I would think he should go down before Arcia! I know Arcia has struggled in last 30 at bats or so but so did Joe in the 30 before that! Disappointed by this decision...

I too am dissappointed by the decision. It seems as if the Twins are trying to get Parmelee's bat going in the majors, so they can move him to 1st and trade Mornaue. But you are correct that if Parmelee doesn't pick up the pace soon, Arcia will be called back up through Parmelee's demotion.

In last nights Red Wings game, Oswaldo Arcia hurt his throwing shoulder on a throw throw to home from Right Field. It is unkown if and how long he will be out.

Arica has moved from an everyday Right Fielder to an everyday DH, due to he

is shoulder issues. Which is also why Colabello was called instead of Arcia while Plouffe is on the DL.

In Arcia's last 10 games down in Rochester, he has hit .303 with 3 Home Runs

(All of those come g in back-back-back games) and 8 RBI's

Arica to be called back up to the majors to replace Aaron Hicks. It is unknown when or where Arcia will play while he is in the Majors.
