Yep, unfortunately. He had to put all he could on that ball, which a third baseman shouldn’t have to do on a bare-handed grounder.

And this is why a team cannot play positionless players all over the field. Jax should he sitting down, thinking he had a pretty okay game against a good offense.

The arm motion was definitely NOT sidearm as a standard third baseman would throw it.

Seems like all the arms the twins acquired in July are going to have to pan out for the twins to be competitive going forward. Not brimming with confidence in the trio of Jax, Barnes and Ober
