J-Dog Dungan Provisional Member Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 Maybe I shouldn't compare the two, but Morneau a few years ago was hitting like he is now in ST, then he came out and started getting hit after hit and I believe he ended up winning the MVP that year. While the MVP is out of the range (pun intended) of Caroll, he might just be a slow starter. Even if he is a bench player at the start, I gotta believe that the Twins replace him with Hughes before they replace him with Dozier.
Mr. Ed Provisional Member Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 Gray 1-2-3 inning. What shot does this guy have in the bullpen? Has not 'stood out' that much.

Fien and maybe Deduno and Wise as wellI remember that. I also believe he's out of options. I also remember signing him to a ML contract getting panned. One of Billy Smith's last great moves.
