Catch-up
After pitcher's duels in the first two games that were split between a Twins victory (5-0) and a White Sox victory (2-1), the third game of this series was an explosion of runs as the Twins won behind four Bombas from Nelson Cruz (2), Max Kepler, and Mitch Garver. Storylines
1. On short rest, the Twins with an off-day tomorrow will lean on the American League leader in ERA to try and least finish 5 innings today and try to lead Minnesota to their 2nd series victory over Chicago this year.
2. Carlos Rodon's first start against Minnesota this year was good (5.0IP, 6H, 2ER, 2BB, 4K's) but he was bested by Kenta Maeda in a 4-1 victory for the Twins. Today Rodon looks to bounceback for the southside and even the series today.
3. The Twins will play the Chi Sox again next weekend but before that, they will do battle with the Evil Empire starting on Tuesday against the Yankees (39-14, 1st in AL East).
