Aerodeliria Verified Member Posted May 10, 2019 Posted May 10, 2019 Sorry to hear that Kennys Vargas hasn't been able to make it work well in Japan either. He 'plays' for Chiba-Lotte Marines; and toting the same problems he had stateside is haunting him here in Japan as well. He couldn't lay off of the off-speed offerings out of the strike zone while he was here. That's not going to have a fairytale ending if you come to Japan. His whiff rate is a whopping 36% since joining the Marines with just one home run. Of course, now he has started riding the pine with his horrible slash line. It's too bad, but it seems as if AAA represents his peak I'm afraid.
