Nah, let's wait 10 more days to confirm what we already know.

 

I'm confident the Twins FO is selling and has been for a couple weeks and we'll see them move some guys when we get close to the deadline. Teams like to wait until they're right up at the deadline on the 31st, and I'll bet at least one Twin will be traded that day.

Going to the Cubs game this afternoon. No, I most definitely am not becoming a Cubs fan ... free tickets, are free tickets! And they're playing the Cardinals, so should be a fun baseball game to be at. It's a pretty heated rivalry.

 

Maybe I'll watch the Twins game tonight if I can stand two games in one day! ;)

 

As a friend of mine says, "'Free' is my favorite flavor."

Busenitz always seems to me the opposite.  The whole is less than the sum of its parts.

Keep in mind who's doing the play-by-play. I am absolutely sure Dick Bremer is a great guy, but if you look up "homer" in the dictionary you see his picture.

 

Is the 2019 edition out? 'Cause Hawk Harrelson still has a few games left before he (mercifully) retires.

Good thing the boys got their rest. How exciting is it that Wilson and Grossman gets starts to start the post all-star half of the season. And now Mottor is recalled, and we get a Belisle outing. Tell me again how things have changed?
