Phillies take Nick Burdi, RHP (Twins) with 3rd pick in Rule V draft

Honestly, I thought it would be worse. We lose Burdi and Bard but both have to stick and I don't think either will. And both are oldish for prospects. I was positive someone would take a flier on Stewart but that didn't happen so we still have him in AA to start the year. 

 

We also drafted a guy somewhat similar in Kinsley from Miami so ... all things considered, I'm not too upset.
