Mandelaro: Twins to stay in Rochester for 2 more years

Rochester is important against the Twins going back to the PCL and the inflated stats from some of the ballparks. Remember the Twins affiliate could be in Las Vegas, Edmonton or several other places that are a long way from here. Callups from some of these places take 2 days to arrive. When you need help at a major league level, like now with two outfielders hurting, 2 days is a long time.

Vegas is an issue for other reasons, but both US Airways and Delta have many direct flights daily there; I suspect Southwest as well does. Not so many direct flights from Rochester, esp after Eastman-Kodak went belly up.
