Badsmerf Verified Member Posted August 13, 2012 Posted August 13, 2012 Another very nice game for Hendriks. I really hope he's ready soon. Parmelee with 2 HR's, now sitting at a ridiculous 1.120 OPS. If Span does go on the DL, the Twins almost have to call him up and let him lumber around in RF.
rickyhawaii Provisional Member Posted August 13, 2012 Posted August 13, 2012 would trying to break Hendriks in relief be a good idea? long reliever and spot starter.. would be more beneficial to the organization than Jeff Gray or Perdomo

If I was the Twins, it wouldn't matter what level Hendriks pitches at right now, in fact I'd have him in the best place for his development. They feel like that is in AAA. Doesn't really matter this season, but I hate it, I'm a believer in adjusting to a level and going through growing pains. Putting him in the pen would just prolong his development IMO. They should just put him in the rotation and leave him there.
