I just realized I have no recollection of where the polar bear came from, or what the point was of Claire's baby, or if WALT! ever showed up again, or what the point of the Island was, and is that also where the Minnow crashed?  The show did have some fun moments though if you don't think too hard.

So what the hell happened to Berrios? Up until last year and this year his control was quite exceptional, now apparently he forgot what the strike zone is.

 

He might find his control at MLB at some point, but I never understood the scouting reports that said he had good control.  Watching videos of him pitching in the minors, he missed his spots and hung lots of off-speed pitches that generally still fooled the minor league hitters.  I was expecting him to get banged up when he reached the majors, but not as bad as he did (and especially all the walks).

 

The coaches seem to have pinpointed a major cause of his inconsistency to his rushed delivery and mindset.  Hopefully he can keep working at that.

oh Vargas is playing? He'll be with the big league team Opening Day then, I'm assuming.

 

The TD writers gave the impression he was starting on the DL.

Ok. I guess I was expecting some growth this Spring Training since it seemed he was pressing all of last season. Emotionally for Berrios year 2 should be much easier as he has now the knowledge of what he needs to work on to succeed. It stinks too because he won't be pushed by another top pitching prospect as Fernando Romero has an innings limit and is starting in AA, and Stephen Gonsalves is injured and who knows how much he pitches this season, especially if his shoulder injury is worse than originally thought.

meh. I prefer "effectively wild." :)

 

And let's be honest: does throwing strikes and lousy pitching correlate somehow with this team? Because Twins pitchers have usually been known for keeping the walks down.

Buxton advanced from 2nd to 3rd on medium fly ball to LEFT field using his "world-class speed." Then scores later on sac fly.

I missed all that. Getting too many text messages during the game (ahem, spinowner, ahem)

From radio: Goodrum at AAA Rochester will be used as a super-utility type this year.  Playing almost every day, but playing at many positions in both the infield and outfield.

I don't know that I've ever seen it before where our AAA squad has more power hitters than our MLB squad.

 

Also, if we tie, does that mean that we have a AAA MLB squad?  JKJKJK.
