Not much to say here, but if you want to see BP on day 1 of spring training, Derek Wetmore has some video for you. I doubt Castro was too proud of this one.

Hate to burst his bubble but that wasn't his first batting practice. He took bp yesterday on the other field and did better.  Today was on Field 4 with a very strong wind out to left.  They broke out new balls today and sent a lot over the fences, the longest by Buxton which I went and got.  Park was on the next field over and I didn't watch that field but some fan from Pittsburg picked up at least 8 balls.  The balls are ruined this year though, as practice is inked right in the sweet spot.
