How was Buxton's triple? No video of it on MLB gameday unfortunately. 

Well it was the 3rd fastest right handed hitter triple of the season, so pretty fast.

Reasonable people can disagree, I guess.  But i NEVER sacrifice in the second inning.  Never.  Depending on the pitcher, possibly even not with a pitcher up.  Moving a runner(s) up one base at the expense of an out doesn't make sense.

 

If, late in a game, it appears one run will very likely win the game, and the hitters due up and pitchers available to the opposition both make sense, OK.  I can see it.

 

Otherwise?  No.
