Phil Mackey: GM Ryan's Interim Tag Remains

"I'm still the interim for a reason. I've got a lot of work to do here," Ryan said. "We haven't talked about it at all and I don't anticipate talking about it until we get to the latter part of this year. ..."

 

He's also quoted in Joe Christensen's article in today's StarTribune that he doesn't want the interim label taken off and that he still has to prove that he can do the job. Sounds like he's merely being diplomatic following Jim Pohlad's comments.
