Home Runs by position

I noticed yesterday that we had a lineup of 7 players with 10+ home runs. If Mauer hits 2 more this year, we will be able to field a team where every position but catcher has hit 10+. I wonder when the last time a Twins team did that. Has a Twins team ever fielded 9 players with 10+? Who here can figure this out?

The years of 1962, 1963, 1964, are instances in which 8 Twins had 10 or more homers. 

 

1962 it was all the regulars, 1963 and 1964 had one from the bench add over 10. 1964 had 5 guys with 20 + homers.

 

1997 and 2004 had 9 twins with 10+ homers, but not all regulars, it was some mix of bench guys and regulars.

 

1970 - all the starters had 10+ except 2B Danny Thompson, who had zero.

 

1965 and 1991 had 6, 1987 had 7.

That's fascinating. In an environment of suppressed offense, I was surprised to see how well this team ranked. Obviously, home runs aren't everything.
