No No ir...

It was a hot and humid Houston as i sauntered into my Private investigator's office. Business was slow, and i was even slower. Hadn't been any decent action in who knows how long. And i had gotten used to it, in a slovenly sort of way. I stumbled to the door, pulled it open, and got the shock of my life! There in my office was a sight to behold! But alas, it wouldn't do to discuss my clients...

Suffice it to say, someone got away with a crime yesterday, at trope i canna field i mean minute man maid field. maid... man... that could even be the problem.

On the outside, it looked like your average, even expected baseball game last night. A home team won going away, 8-0. But i'll have to dig deeper. There are play off implications. The whole country could be watching.

There's another game tonight. This time we'll catch the miscreants. I'm staking out Minute Maid Park, where, under the guise of an innocent national pastime, a most hanous crime might be recommitted. But this might blow up in my face, so i'm not going alone. I'm calling all my favors in... Every one of you's got my back, right?

Nope. Buxton rounded first like he was on a two-stroke dirt bike.

Late to the party-  been watching USA vs. Australia rugby, live from Soldier Field!  

Rugby CBU-  Autralia 14- USA 10 at half!

This is big----  after getting their arse handed to them by #1 New Zealand a few months ago, they spotted the #2 team a 14-0 lead, and came back and punched 'em right in the mouth!  Yee-haw!  There are some fearsome hits going on, in the last tune-up for both before the World Cup starts in a couple of weeks--

I agree with Morris the Dozier should try to go to the right side more, but then I said that all off season too.  He just doesn't do anything but pull the ball.

That was an elite catch by Carlos Gomez. Buxton could do that, not sure if Hicks would get there.

I think Hicks gets that too.

Hicks does get a quicker jump on the ball than Buxton, and Hicks takes a better line. He might just get there, true. On the other hand, Hicks has been misjudging balls hit over his right shoulder lately. It's like he's a bit wall-shy.
