Judging by the game threads activity, it's certainly less watchable.

Toronto's offense is like Joe Louis in his prime. Cleveland's offense is like Joe Louis today. The Twins have embarrassed themselves by allowing 17 runs so far.

Santana in past 3 starts: 10.93 ERA, 14 IP, 24 H, 9 BB, 4 HR.

ERA has jumped from 2.60 to 5.40.

Steroids wore off.

KABOOM! There goes our bullpen. How can you give up 3 straight walks??

I was thinking about writing a piece about how O'Rourke has pitched so well. Don't think I'm going to write that now...

Is it Boyer's turn to lower his ERA and give in some inherited runs?

Wow, oh wow. Boyer gives up a grand slam!

Can this end? Will this be Boyer's final appearance? Because he's a punchline at this point. How can you keep a guy like him on the roster?!

Who is the poster that is always complaining that Boyer is still on the team?  He will be in fine form tomorrow.

You were half right. Wish it were the other half.

I'm assuming you're not talking about me, but I'm going to continue complaining about him. It's ridiculous.

I think you'll have to be more specific.

I'll give Dick that one: "Just like that, they're within nine."

I like Eddie Rosario. Remember a couple years ago, when Rosario was neck and neck with Miguel Sano for the home run lead on their team? Where was that... Anyway, Rosario has plenty of power, but usually he tones it down to keep his average up. No need for that right now, so he uncorked a big one.

So what would be worse for someone early in a career as a manager--accepting the Marlins job or declining the Marlins job?

Gotta ask Redmond about that.

I guess Boyer prefers to pitch with the bases clear.

If so, then why does he put so many men on base?

It's true.  It's 10 AM here, and when I tuned in, it was already 4-1 and trouble a-brewin'.  So I decided to use my time productively, and got into the kitchen.

Here's some banana-cardomom bread, with a little orange zest mixed in.  Dig in, everybody!

;)

I think he takes over the lead in IRS-  wow, is that an ominous moniker.

That was pretty funny - Molitor was clearly talking to Nunez about pitching an inning. Looked like Nunez was nodding in the affirmative. I'd rather see Escobar, if he'll do a Tiant impression... or Hicks, who can actually fog it in at mid 90's.
