The opposing batter splits away. It doesn't matter, when you got Thompson and Duensing facing them, the opponent is literally ahead in the count 2-0 before he even steps in the batter box.

 

Let Fien, Pressly or even Boyer (can't believe I said that) pitch the whole inning.
