Minor Leagues Studs and Duds 4-10 edition

Well, it was a good night in the system with 3 wins and a rainout.  

 

STUD:  Jose Berrios (AA)  6.1IP, ER, 6H, BB and 11K (1-0)

 

For the second straight day, the STUD was the starting pitcher for the Lookouts.  Amazingly, 11K on just 89 pitches, now that's efficiency.

 

Pretty Darn Good:   Jorge Polanco(AA)  3-4, 2b, HR (GS), 4RBI and 2 runs scored and a SB

                                  Niko Goodrum (Hi-A) 2-4,2b, HR, 2RBI and 1 run scored

                                  Aaron Slegers (Hi-A)  6IP, 0ER, 2H and 3K (1-0)

 

Well, an argument could be made for Polanco to be the STUD of the day.  Slegers great performance still outshadowed by Berrios.

 

DUD:   Travis Harrison (AA)  0-5 with 4K

 

Not too many duds on this day with 3 victories, although Lookouts struck out 16 times again, giving 36K in two games, ouch!  Joining Harrison were Buxton and Adam Brett Walker with 3 each.
