Tuesday (3/24) Twins Roster Cuts

According to LaVelle Neal, the Twins have made more roster cuts this morning.

 

He has tweeted that AJ Achter has been optioned.

 

James Beresford, Eric Farris, Danny Ortiz, Jose Martinez and Tyler Grimes have been reassigned to minor league.

 

No official announcement from the Twins at this time.

Updated - The Twins sent out a press release confirming these six moves.

35 players remain in camp, including 6 non-roster players.

 

They are: Blaine Boyer, Mark Hamburger, Eric Fryer, Dan Rohlfing, Doug Bernier, and Shane Robinson.

For backup catcher: Pinto, Herrmann, Fryer, Rohlfing

For CF and 4th OF: Schafer, Hicks, Robinson, Rosario

For last bench bat/utility: Above plus Nunez, Bernier

 

For 5th SP: Milone, May, Pelfrey

For 5th, 6th and 7th RP: Above plus Thielbar, Thompson, Graham, Boyer, Hamburger
