GMinTraining Verified Member Posted March 23, 2015 Posted March 23, 2015 With the Lookouts having some of the best talent in all of minor league baseball, why will I not be able to see them on MiLBTV this season? I read somewhere on Twins Daily that they are the only team in Southern League to not have a TV deal. I looked it up and it is true. Is that the Twins or Chattanooga? And regardless - Why?
Paul Pleiss Verified Member Posted March 24, 2015 Posted March 24, 2015 That's a topic to take up with the Lookouts. You can probably find radio coverage for the team or watch them when they're on the road. I'm more suprised that AA games are televised than surprised that AA games arent televised.

But the Lookouts are the only team in Southern League not to televise home games? Best team on paper and no televised games. Sucks

Sucks Yes, it sucks. But prior to this season there was no PDC with the Twins, and no guarantee Twins will continue to have a loaded AA roster. It may not make a lot of sense to spend the money to put them on tv... but yes, it sucks for all baseball fans everywhere, especially early this season
Paul Pleiss Verified Member Posted March 24, 2015 Posted March 24, 2015 15 of their 21 games in April will be on MiLB.tv, so that should give you a chance to see the uber prospect squad in action. Another handful of away games on MiLB.tv in May too. So it shouldn't be too terrible. Hopefully by the end of May a lot of those guys are moving up to AAA or MLB. It also looks like Biloxi and Mobile are also missing from MiLB.tv, so maybe it's not just the Lookouts.
