Parker Hageman Site Manager Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 While most fans would prefer the upgrades to happen on the field, the Minnesota Twins are planning on making some off the field this winter. According to the Business Journal's Nick Halter, the Twins will make $2.5 million in alterations to the five-year-old stadium including swapping out the retail space located just inside the left field gates for another bar: The retail shop is on the first level, at the base of the limestone Budweiser Roof Deck. A new bar would accommodate 200 fans and included a video screen above the the bar Other plans include creating a "super suite" by consolidating three suites on the third base side into one mega-suite for business meetings and large parties. The Minnesota Ballpark Authority will approve the plans at their December 2nd meeting.
